Hi, my name is Kamilah (Ka-MEE-la)!  Growing up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, provided me the fortunate ability to immerse myself in what I was strongly drawn to early on—music and performing arts.

As an adult, it is incredible to experience evolving these passions into my career.  I am a proud graduate of the Illinois Wesleyan University Class of 2019, having earned a BFA in Music Theatre.   

 

On the IWU campus, I served as the Assistant Publicity Coordinator for the School of Theatre Arts as well as a co-leader of IWU’s sketch comedy group.  In addition to performing, I love playing my violin, trying new recipes in the kitchen, and staying active by hiking and exploring the outdoors.
